Maybe it was Injuns's Comment:
"Alreet Mark, just wanted to say I finally got around to seeing your film last night and how mightily impressed I was.
Sir, you have done extremely well. It was brilliant. I genuinely hope that this gets you to where you want to be. Also, big up to the other people involved. It was an all round cracker and I'm sure they're very proud to have been a part of it.
Fascism burns itself into the culture that supports it. Where films like Children of Men and V for Vendetta felt like paper cut outs of Britain, yours felt like the real thing and that made it exceptionally worrying and provocative.
Again, well done on your film and congratulations on its building success." |

"Your State"
A very interesting and disturbing look at life that could be our near future. The frightening point about this film, is I could see it happening. To me it had the feel of a condensed "1984".
But "Your State" brings that image right up to date and in your face. Mark Ashmore is a young actor, writer and director and who also appears in his own film. Mark has created an amazing realistic plot, with an excellent cast. The sound and lighting give it that authentic perspective.Even the music complements the whole image. It makes me fear just what could be around the corner. But I pray we can come to our senses, before we go a step to far. " Your State". Well worth watching.
